Taxonomic Change:

• Tillandsia clavigera Mez is probably nothing more than a somewhat depauperate form of Tillandsia nervisepala (Gilmartin) L.B.Sm., however, the former name having priority over the latter. —See Till & Grant 2003 p. 53:195
