- Like the previous taxon, D. pernambucana is also typically rupicolous or saxicolous on inselbergs and endemic to the Pernambuco Center. It does have a wider geographic distribution, however, and is found on several inselbergs of the Agreste and hinterland (Sertdo) of Pernambuco, especially the Brejos de altitude. In these areas, it does not suffer from man's activities. It is not found in any conservation unit. —See Siqueira & Leme 2007
