Navia lactea L.B.Sm., Steyerm. & H.Rob.
Taxonomic Change:
- The original description of Navia lactea listed the sepals as free, but the accompanying illustration clearly shows the high connation of the posterior sepals, as they actually are. Navia ocellata, also from Cerro Siparo, may be an older name for this taxon, but the differences given in the key seems to hold for the material known at present. —See Holst 1994 p. 617
- Listed as a synonym of Navia ocellata L.B.Sm. without comment —See Luther & Sieff 1994 p. 26
