Abstract:—Tillandsia may-patii is proposed as a new species. The following species were previously unrecorded (or insufficiently documented) for the bromeliad flora of the Yucatan Peninsula: Aechmea bromeliifolia, Aechmea tillandsioides var. tillandsioides, Catopsis nutans, and Tillandsia juncea. Hechtia schottii is treated as an endemic to the floria of the peninsula. An updated checklist of the family Bromeliaceae for the Yucatan Peninsula is presented.
