Abstract:—Tillandsia yuccoides, a new species of endemic from the Depresión Central de Chiapas from Chiapas, México, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to Tillandsia guenther-nolleri Ehlers, a species from western Mexico, however characters such as pale green and glabrous leaves, recurvate inflorescences and pale violet petals allow it to be differentiated from T. guenther-nolleri. A line drawing is included.
Keywords:—Bromeliaceae, Chiapas, tropical subdecidous forest, Soyaló, terrestrial.
