Abstract:—The authors describe and illustrate Tillandsia zizkae, a new bromeliad species from the western department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The species resembles T. sagasteguii but is clearly distinguished from it by the larger leaf sheaths, the different colouration of spikes and inflorescence axes, the nodding spikes, the smooth bracts as long as or longer than the sepals and the terrestrial habit, and belongs to the T. australis complex.
