Taxonomy:—Aechmea curranii Very similar to A. turbinocalyx. A better delimitation between Aechmea curranii and Aechmea turbinocalyx will depend on more field collections. No further field studies have been reported but Luther decided that it was a synonym see Binomial listings. (p.279-284).
