Abstract:—In the first two parts of the travelogue (Böker 2018 / Böker 2019) I reported on the beginning of our trip to Colombia. While we were not very successful in things bromeliad in the area of Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, at least in natural settings, that changed completely in the Colombian highlands at Fusagasugá. On two trips into the surroundings of Fusagasugá together with our host Franz Gruber, we found some bromeliads in their natural habitats. We undertook two more trips further into the surrounding environs with our guide, Manuel Portillo, one into the cloud forest at the Cerro de Quininí with the adjacent natural park and the other into the lowlands at Río Magdalena. In the following I would like to report on these two explorations.
