Abstract:—In this article the author is publishing a comprehensive list of petal colours and odor of species in the subgenus Hohenbergia of the homonymous genus. The list is based on the protologues and other references that were thought to be important. 39 species were found with information on petal colour. Some species were reported having several or different petal colours inconsistently. It was considered that a clash in petal colour was attributable to these reasons: the inclusion of another species, the describer’s misperception or possible local variations. The presence or absence of odor was reported in 17 species. Information of odor was mainly about its degree of intensity.
