Abstract:—This is the fourth article of a series of articles about the bromeliads of Suriname and French Guiana. I saw and documented many species of different genera when travelling through these two countries over the years. In the first three parts I introduced myself and my bromeliad fascination as well as the first sixteen bromeliads, all Aechmea from Ae. aquilegia to Ae. tocantina. This fourth part continues with the next six and last Aechmea species, all of them found on the inselberg Savane Roche Virginie and its “satellites”. And here are the numbers 017 to 022: The following Aechmea species or hybrids were already discussed in an article in this journal (Moonen, 2015). For this reason the article contains only just some photos and very brief descriptions.
