Abstract:—T.erici was discovered by Erich Haugg 1996 in Bolivia, province Mendez, in a very hot and dry region, together with T. lorentziana growing on deciduous trees at l800-2200m This species is similar to T. argentina, but differs by following characteristics: plant larger; leaves broader, not secund. much more soft and thin, red-brown, prominently nerved: inflorescence longer and broader, floral bracts longer, densely imbricate, rhachis not visible; sepals longer; petals orange-yellow, not pink, longer, with blades up to 9mm broad, serrate, undulate.
