Abstract:—T. laui is more widespread in Mexico than assumed earlier. lt can be found also in Chiapas. This large, green plant without colouring even during anthesis is related to T. ponderosa (according to S. Gardner: J. Brom. Soc. 31, p.l22, 1981) and T. imperialis.
