Abstract:—Tillandsia chalcatzingensis from Morelos, Mexico is described and illustrated. The new species is compared with T. superinsignis, T. thyrsigera and T. tonalaensis, taxa with similar morphological features. A comparative table and a distribution map of these taxa are included
