Abstract:—T. marabascoensis EHLERS & LAUTNER so far only known from the type-collection, seems to be related to T. jaliscomonticola Matuda 1975, a plant growing in higher elevations of 500 to 1200 m s. m. T. marabascoensis is much smaller, and the leaves are much shorter (only 20 cm, not 55-60 cm long). Scape nearly none, not 21 cm long, spike narrower, only 4 not 7,5 cm wide, with more sterile bracts at the base, dorsi-ventrally stronger compressed. Floral bracts narrower, not as wide as long, cuspidate. Sepals narrower, the posterior ones 1 cm connate, petals much longer, green, not violet.
