Diagnose: —Streptocalyci geminifloro Harms affinis, sed bracteis primariis integris, spicis 3-5floris, et sepalis majoribus differt. Observations: —From the related Streptocalyx geminiflorus Harms this new species differs in having larger sepals, 3-5-flowered spikes and entire primary bracts. Streptocalyx pallidus superficially resembles the widespread and variable S. longifolius (Rudge) Baker on account of its numerous, narrow leaves and low inflorescence but can be easily separated by its entire primary and floral bracts and lavender-blue flowers.Edited from : Luther 1980c.
