<- Hohenbergia tetaensis Proctor & Cedeņo-Maldonado[as Hohenbergia tetaensis Proctor & Cedeno-Maldonado]

Observations: —Hohenbergia tetaensis most resembles H. antillana Mez among Puerto Rican species, but differs in having shorter (to 1 m long vs. to 1.5 m long) and narrower (averaging 6 cm wide vs. 8.5 cm wide) leaves; thinner spikelets (averaging 2 vs. 3 cm.), their stalks 3-4 mm thick vs. 8-12 mm in H. antilliana; and smaller floral bracts (12-17 vs. 20-25 mm long). Its dense, rigid inflorescence with floccose indument clearly distinguishes it from H. portoricensis Mez in DC and H. attenuata Britton
Puerto Rico: Known only from the eastern peak of Tetas de Cayey, Salinas.
