Aechmea leppardii Philcox[as Aechmea leppardii Philcox.]

Diagnose: —Ae. caudatae Lindman affinis sed inflorescentia longa simplici et scapo breve differt; ab Ae. gamosepala Wittmack floribus flavis caeruleis distinguenda.

Observations: —This description was made from a specimen of this collection cultivated at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew which flowered in December 1973, and is now preserved in the herbarium there.

Differs from A. gamosepala in
Flowers yellow instead of blue
