Vriesea pallidiflora E.Pereira[as Vriesea pallidiflora ]

Diagnose: —Species haec affinis V. erythrodactyloni, ab hac differt foliorum vagina viridi, bracteis floralibus, sepalis aequilongis, carinati in apice tantum, corolla totaliter flavor-pallidescente et haud stolonifera.

Observations: —This new species is close to V. erythrodactylon but differs from it by the green leaf sheath, by the floral bracts, the length of the sepals which are carinate at the apex only, by the corolla entirely pale yellow and not stoloniferous.
