Observations: —Differs from V. heterandra in
All parts of the plant are larger
Scape bract blades pale yellow
Primary bract blades rolled back and much shorter
Spike sterile part 20cm long compared with 4cm long
Spike much narrower at flowering, to 0.8cm wide
