Vriesea splendens var. formosa Suringar ex Witte

leaves: blade 3–5 cm wide, obtuse and apiculate (?), wholly green; racemes mostly not over 25 cm long, to 6 cm wide, lanceolate, broadly obtuse; floral bracts about 6 times as long as the internodes.
