- Identification (15912): E.J.Gouda (2019-08-29) =Aechmea
- Looks to be an Aechmea hybrid
- Add Note (15911): E.J.Gouda (2019-10-25) - this is what they call cristate growth (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Add Note (15911): Geoff Lawn (2019-10-25) - This is registered as Aechmea Star of Linda, bred by Chester Skotak circa 1995. Parentage is Ae. mariae-reginae (female) x fasciata (spineless form) . The inflorescence regularly produces this distorted cristate pattern, although the foliage growth appears entirely normal. (Sent: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
