- Opmerking (7099): Manfred Zingler (2011-08-27) - Here are four Tillis from the same location, about 1650m, between Zamora and Sabanilla.
No.1 is about 45cm tall, The sheaths are 4cm wide. The single part of the inflorescence is 5mm wide.
No.2 is about 50cm tall, the sheaths are 6cm wide. The single part of the inflorescence is 13mm wide.
No.3 is nearly 1m tall.
No.4 is like No.2 but the inflorescence is different. .
I know that T. naundordiae doesn`t existe anymore and was renamed in T. stenoura var. mauroi. In accordance with the description about T. naundorfii from Werner Rauh (1976) fit only the plant No.1.
I am very confuse about this four bromis and I hope anyone can bring clearness. Also I do not understand the reason to chance the name into T. stenoura var. mauroi. - Opmerking (7098): Steven Heathcote (2011-10-20) - I would suggest 1 is Tillandsia buseri and 4 is Tillandsia superba. No 3 looks closest to Tillandsia stenoura var mauroi. Hope this helps, or at least gets a discussion started...
