Opmerking: according to Fcbs pictures this one would be var divaricata, just one offset, spike shorter, rosy with pink flowers, foliage softer

- This matches the coastal lowland type in Ecuador that is usually an epiphyte, often on telephone wires. There seems to be a cline N to S, high to low with floral bract covering, ie; dense around Guayaquil, glabrous around Cuenca. HEL ps not sure what happens in Peru. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
