- Opmerking (5975): Eric Gouda (2010-09-20) - T. rubro-violacea has a cylindric inflorescence with short 3-5 flowered spikes and very typical red floral bracts with purple apex, not seen in this specimen. (Verzonden: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Determinatie (5975): Eric Gouda (2011-01-26) =Tillandsia aff. reversa
- This looks close to Tillandsia reversa to me except that the inflorescence is more compact than our plant, but is it the same species/plant as the first picture? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking (5975): Peter Tristram (2011-01-26) - No Eric. I haven't flowered the one in the first pic in cultivation yet. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
