- resists more sun (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Determinatie (9872): Geoff Lawn (2012-06-11) =Neoregelia compacta
- Definitely not N. concentrica. Looks identical to N. compacta
- Opmerking (9872): Richard Martin (2012-06-11) - Photo search does seem to come up with Neoregelia macwilliamsii. It is a very distinctive plant.
- Opmerking (9872): Eric Gouda (2012-06-11) - I agree with Matthias, this is what we grow as Neoregelia macwilliamsii (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking (9872): Uncle Derek (2012-06-13) - I would go with aff. macwilliamsii. Why? the species is known for small spotting especially near the sheaths but not red tipped leaves. There is also very little difference between it and compacta. Whenever I see a Neoregial witthout provenance I think hybrid. After all there are 6000 hybrids registered compared to say 60 Neo species in general cultivation (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Determinatie (9872): HEL (2012-06-19) =Neoregelia hybrid
- Perhaps N. olens S.L x N. compacta, possibly of Skotakian origin. Just doesnt look right for a N. mcwilliamsii or compacta. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
