- Identification (5166): HEL (2009-10-01) =Aechmea woronowii
(Sent: brom-l@nic.surfnet.nl)
- Add Note (5166): Eric Gouda (2009-10-05) - Harry, that is what I thought on first glance (do I say this right), but when I compared it with the picture in Manzanares (2002) that plant has pinkish primary bracts that are ample up to top of the inflorescence (all about equaling the branches) and you see all flowers at least being pedicellate, but most of them on short few flowered branches and this one (Ralph's) has most flowers sessile on the main axis (it seems to be branched toward the base, but primary bracts are only ample toward the base.)
