Distribution: BRAZIL; Rio de Janeiro,

Habitat: heliophyte on bare rocks, ca 1900 m. Elev.

Etymology: It is named after the shape of the scape and of the inflorescence, which is tortuous.

Phenology: In floral bud during November, blooming from December to January.
