Distribution: BOLIVIA; Cochabamba,

Habitat: on humid slope of very humid piedmont rain forest, 600-1550 m. Elev.

Etymology: This species is named after the Chapare region on the Andean foothills which is characterized by the most humid and very probably most plant species- (and endemic-) rich lowland rainforests of Bolivia.
