Etymology: TlLLANDSlA KAUTSKYl E. Pereira (1974) was named after Roberto Kautsky who has discovered within the last few years some interesting new bromeliads growing on his extensive farm, a half-natural mountain forest in Domingos Martins, Espirito Santo, Brazil.
