Distribution: VENEZUELA; Amazonas, (Cerro Vinilla and vicinity, Raudal de los Guaharibos along upper Rio Orinoco, Sierra de Unturan). Endemic.

Habitat: Rocky slopes, exposed dry places in savannas, in crevices and along streams on granite rocks,, 300-600 ; m. Elev.
