German title:—Die Bromelien der Küste von Santa Catarina, südliches Brasilien

Abstract:—In the second half of 2021, I had the opportunity to come back to the coast of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, many years since my last visit. Santa Catarina is the Brazilian State that is bordering to the north of Rio Grande do Sul, my home state. The bromeliad flora there has been subject of several articles that I had the honor to publish in this magazine. Now it is time to share some impressions and pictures from my visit in 2021.I want to present several pictures I took this year and I hope they can give you some impressions of the very beautiful bromeliad flora at the coast of Santa Catarina. There are many genera to discover like Aechmea, Ananas, Billbergia, Bromelia, Dyckia, Edmundoa, Hohenbergia, Neoregelia, Nidularium, Tillandsia, Vriesea and Wittrockia. Almost forty years ago – 1983 – all these genera were object of the magnificent book „Bromeliaceas e a Malaria-Bromelia Endemica“ by Raulino Reitz about the bromeliads from Santa Catarina (Reitz 1983)
