Abstract:—n the first parts of the travel report (Böker 2018/Böker 2019/Böker 2020) I had reported on our foray into the surroundings of Fusagasugá. The climatic conditions could not have been more varied: Paramo at 3050 m el. at only 8 °C and on the other hand the plains at the Río Magdalena at 350 m el. and 37 °C at what felt like 100% humidity. Thus, vegetation and the lushness of plant life were corresponding- ly different in a relatively small space and short time, what a joy even for a non-botanist.
