A new species of Tillandsia (Bromeliaceae) from the South of Ecuador

Abstract:—A new species of Tillandsia subgenus Pseudovriesea from the Province of Loja, Ecuador, closely related to T. drewii L.B. Sm., is described and illustrated here. It can easily be distinguished from this species by its short primary bracts, that do not cover the spikes.
