Abstract:—Titlandsia rudolfii is a new species, growing epiphytically in 2700 m with a coot and wet climate near Cuenca in Ecuador. It is related to T biflora Ruiz & Pavon and T ionochroma André ex Mez but differs from both: Leaves up to 5 cm broad. Inflorescences densely capitate bipinnate. Spikes with 7 flowers and up to 8,5 cm long. Floral bracts exeeding the sepals and tip to 45 cm long. Sepals 30 mm long.
