Abstract:—In Mexico, Oaxaca. near Atenango, was found a new species growing together with T. makoyana, T. caput-rnedusae and T. ionantha. lt is similar to T. mazatlanensis, but differs in following characteristics: rosette more narrow. blades more succulent and densely grey-lepidote; spikes longer and more narrow with a flexuous rhachis; internodes of the flower bracts much bigger, flower bracts shining yellow, prominently nerved, longer and acuminate. not obtuse; sepals yellow. much shorter connate. the anterior also carinate; petals shorter, rose-lilac, stamens exceeding the petals.
