Abstract:—T. calochlamys is described as a new species belonging to the group of T.sphaerocephala and T. schreiteri. Habitat is the humid and cool region > 3000 m in the Sierra de Cochabamba in Bolivia and the plant therefore difficult in cultivation. Further investigations lead to the conclusion that T. sphaerocephala and T. schreiteri are valid species. In addition a new variety of T. sphaerocephala is described as var. tarijensis, growing on rocks in the department Tarija. A new key is provided to differentiate between these species:
