Abstract:—Tillandsia hegeri is a new species found in Bolivia, 2700 m s.m. It is closely related to T. zecheri W. TILL and T. muhrii RAUH, the latter to be renamed to T. cafayatensis. It differs from T. zecheri by the adpressed scales, the sessile in florescence and erect petals.
