Abstract:—t was not the first time that this plant had flowered at the Utrecht Botanic Gardens,
but an earlier flowering was abortive with a very short inflorescence that barely came out
from between the leaves. It looked so weird that I did not pay much attention to it. In May
2011 it flowered again, but after missing some of the flowers (already faded in the early
morning), I took the plant home to see it in full bloom and take some good pictures of it.
