Cottendorfia neogranatensis Baker  diagnose
leaves thin, lanceolate, entire, acute, naked on the face, an inch broad. inflorescence: peduncle slender; bract-leaves many, small, lanceolate, scariose; fertile part a narrow panicle half a foot long, with many ascending subsecund moderately dense racemose branches. flowers: pedicel very short; floral bracts ovate, acute, 1/6 in; long; sepals oblong, obtuse, 1/12 in; long; petals oblong, twice as long as the calyx. stamens shorter than the petals.
