Tillandsia appuniana Baker
leaves not seen. inflorescence: spikes dense, simple, 8–9 in; long, 1½ in, diam; floral bracts oblong- lanceolate; 2½ in, long, tapering gradually to a small incurved point. flowers: calyx an inch long; petal-blades connivent in a cylindrical tube 1½ in; long, just reaching to the tip of the bract.
