- Opmerking: Bruce Dunstan (2013-03-26) - P. specatabila ? discoloued foliage
I think I photographed this plant in your garden Eduardo? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl) - Opmerking: Bruce Dunstan (2013-03-26) - Sorry P. spectabilis? (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking: Eduardo Calderón (2013-03-26) - Perhaps an undescribed subspecies of Pitcairnia sanguinea (with paler flowers than the amazonian type), occurring at the western side of the Colombian West Cordillera. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Determinatie: Eric Gouda (2013-03-27) =Pitcarinia aff. spectabilis
- I think Bruce is right, it looks much closer to P.spectabilis than to P.sanguinea. This last one is a very compact plant (with the same leaf coloration) but different flower type and much shorter pedicel. (Verzonden: brom-l@science.uu.nl)
- Opmerking (10911): Eduardo Calderón (2013-03-28) - Flower closeup (same individual)
