The online version can not print nor show the full size images, that's why we promote to buy the CD. If you are a Bromelid Enthusiast, it is really worth having it. The price is € 20 (excl.shipping).

You will find original bitmap format images as well as professionally edited (cleaned) versions on the CD. As you probably know the paper of the printed plates has colored in different shades of yellow-brown over time especially at the margins and several plates were folded over once or twice, being damaged on the folds. All damage has been corrected to create nice clean images without the loss of detail.

To have an idea of how a full size jpg image looks like, you can check out this example (click here). If you open it in a browser, click on it to enlarge it to the original size. Not all images are the same size and quality and several images are included in bitmap format (3-9 MB in size).
